Registration is closed and the 2024 US National Team has been selected. The number of registrations for this year has far exceeded any of the previous years. It goes to show how much the sport is growing and that many newcomers are interested in competing at the International level. The selection process was not easy and it was purely based on merit. We hope that those who were not selected this year will continue to train and apply again in the future.
The 2024 US National Team comprises of athletes who will be representing the United States at both 2024 CMAS World Championships. The Indoor World Championships will be held from July 5th to the 10th in Belgrade, Serbia. The Outdoor World Championships will be held in the Mediterranean Sea in the month of October. The location is being finalized now. Both competitions will be live streamed on the CMAS YouTube channel by way of Diveye.

On another note, it is that time of year again that we kick-off our US National Team Fundraising efforts. From all the proceeds generated during 2024, each athlete will receive an equal amount from what is graciously donated from friends, family and the community at large. At the very least, we hope to generated enough to cover everyone’s competition registration fees. If the past is any indicator of the future, with your help, we’ve been able to cover registration fees. To help in those efforts, we have appointed Christina Sours as our Fundraising Director for 2024. She will be spearheading these efforts to drive a successful year.
