Many CMAS federations host competitions for static, dynamic and open water freediving throughout the year, in addition to the annual World Championships.
As a U.S. citizen, certified freediver and member of the U.S. Freediving Federation, you are eligible to be considered for participation on the official US Team. If interested, please review the guidelines and email us with any questions. There are two (2) US Teams; Indoor and Outdoor. They are selected annually to participate in the World Championships organized by CMAS International.
Visit the official CMAS events page to view a list of all annual competitions worldwide. The USFF held its first competition in Kona, Hawai'i on the weekend of August 24th, 2018. This was history making and resulted in the first set of U.S. national freediving records under CMAS, the first CMAS sanctioned freediving competition in the US and first CMAS judge course in the US.
