HOW TO
JOIN THE TEAM
The USFF National Team is selected annually. Candidature is reviewed and approved by a USFF committee. There are two teams — Indoor and Outdoor — typically each with 3 Senior Males, 3 Senior Females, 6 Masters Males, and 6 Masters Females. Registration usually opens in December. Current year teams are selected and announced in January.

FIRST STEP
USFF membership is required to compete at any CMAS-sanctioned event and to be eligible for National Team consideration.
2026 US NATIONAL Team
The following AQUAMEN and AQUAWOMEN will officially represent the United States at the 2026 CMAS Indoor and Outdoor Freediving World Championships. The Indoor World Championships will take place in Serbia and the Outdoor Depth World Championships will take place in Honduras.
We are very proud of the team for making an appearance at this year’s international competitions. 2026 marks the largest team ever to perform at the World Championships. This is the largest team (22 athletes) ever from the United States to perform at the World Championships. This is the 5th year that athletes in the Masters (50+ yrs.) category will be performing at Worlds.
