The U.S. Freediving Federation is proud to announce the 2018 Hawaii Cup of Freediving - the first national championship

This is the first outdoor freediving competition to be held in the United States under the USFF and is recognized by CMAS. All competitors will be eligible for US National freediving records; two categories: (18 - 49 years of age) and (50+ years: Masters) as managed by the USFF. There are currently no US National records, so this will be a historic moment to be able to hold the first record.

Disciplines for the competition are CWT (mono or bi fins), FIM and CNF. CMAS rules apply to the competition. All registrants will be provided the official rules to review and become familiar. It is recommended that you incorporate these rules into your training program.

As for the point system, with a white card, you will receive one (1) point per meter of your dive. There will be a male and female overall winner, and then winners of each discipline (CWT, FIM and CNF).
